Golf
Programme
The Canadian Improv Showcase has been offering customized, interactive
comedy for over 10 years. They have offered their services to schools,
community groups and corporations alike; now they are offering their skills
to the world of golf.
It is common practice to have some sort of entertainment at the end of
a golf tournament as part of the dinner festivities, but the Canadian
Improv Showcase takes it to the next level. Utilizing their cast of professional
acting talent, the group offers a variety of options to make the entertainment
experience like no other!
First off, the Canadian Improv Showcase offers a totally hilarious, customized
comedy show. The show is unscripted, guided by audience suggestions and
is completely different every time. The show utilizes a high level of
interaction, giving the audience a completely original performance every
time. The show itself is similar to the long running TV series “Whose
Line Is It Anyway?” and includes some of Toronto’s hottest
up and coming talent.
But that’s not all the group has to offer. For the first time,
the Canadian Improv Showcase is offering ‘character entertainment’.
In addition to the showcase during the dinner, the Canadian Improv Showcase
would provide talented actors in character who would take part in the
tournament, joining various groups and adding to the fun of the day. A
variety of characters are available including ‘the flamboyant Scotsman’
and ‘the Tiger Woods wannabe’. These actors would stay in
character throughout the day of golf, get to know the other participants
only to vanish at the end of the round of golf, then reappear during the
performance only to use the great material they gathered during the round
of golf in the performance. It makes for a fantastic practical joke like
way of adding to the festivities.
These forms of entertainment can be done for virtually any kind of tournament,
just have an estimated size of the group in mind when contacting the group
as it is a weighing factor in the price, along with location, etc.
